Hi,
Im new to magic and after reading on these forums I decided to buy some props and general beginner tricks to get myself started. I ordered for about 90 pounds at http://www.magicworld.co.uk around 27th june. 5 days later I got an enveloppe with some stuff but but it was not complete. After mailing them they responded that it was send in two parts, but 8 days after that mail, still nothing. I think its a bit weird that they send it in two parts because the stuff in the enveloppe wa so little it could easily fit all in one package. Not to mention the condition the little stuff arrived, the packing around the stuff was like hit by a big truck :s One of the tricks was in a 5on5cm paper box, a little kid knows that something like that will not arrive in good condition in an enveloppe :s So I'm still waiting for my box with beginner tricks to arrive after almost two weeks. Mailed again but still no answer after two days. So anyone know this shop and can I trust it and just have to be patient any longer? As a new magic lover and first time ordering magic stuff this is bit of a bummer! Thanks |

Hi Bossanova
I'm sorry for what happened to you. I think that was a simple sign that that magicshop is unprofessional. Anyway could we actually ask opinion about our own magic shop in here? Mine is Trik Sulap, Indonesian biggest magic shop. In contrast with the shop you were talking about, our magic shop always deliver the stuff quickly, and of course in perfect condition |

Hi Bossanva,
Exactly the same story happened to me. I have ordered some items, but order arrived incomplete with some stuff missing. They asked me to wait for missing items and I am waiting for more than 5 months now - no reply to emails, no refunds for undelivered goods, complete ignorance. Feel stupid that I did not searched Café about magicworld.co.uk, before ordering. Worst online buy ever for me too. Be warned! |

Uhoh. I've got an order pending from them too. I'm a bit nervous now... I'll update with how I get on. :/

I hope that everything will be OK with your order. But I will not buy from them anymore.

It's not going well. I ordered a dvd which they said was in stock but actually wasn't.
I've now chased them for a refund twice which hasn't appeared yet (Should have appeared two days ago!) I'll call again today. ho hum |

Lucky you I lost my hope for refund- too many months has passed in silence. It is stupid for me to invoke customer right law for a loss of ten pounds (also I am from other country, so I even do not know how to do that, I suppose there should be some EU regulations on this). Best medicine here is publicity Anyway, true lessons are learned the hard way - like all magic

I rang and always managed to get hold of the guy, but it was very annoying that it look 3 calls to get my money back.
I wouldn't use them again though. |

I ordered David Regal's Clink from Magicworldonline.com and paid by PayPal. That was October 17, 2015. In my account at their site, the status is listed as "processed" as of 10-17-15.
I saw the money come out of my PayPal account right away but a few weeks went by and I hadn't received anything. I've e-mailed them once or twice through the "contact us" tab on their site and have not heard back. The reason I ordered it from from them in the first place is because I have the impression David Regal's Clink is not available at this time. I assumed they might still have one left because the website suggested it was in stock. If they did not have it in stock, they should have told me that. If Regal is putting that trick out again and they are awaiting it, they should have let me know that. So today, I sent them another e-mail though their same "contact us" tab. With so many other magic vendors out there who provide good service, I think you can bet there is no conceivable reason I would ever order from magicworldonline.com again. |

Hi Dave,
Yes that's the same story as mine. They showed a dvd as in stock that they didn't have. I would suggest ringing them. It was the only way and took me several calls as the guy was as always 'just popping out to a gig' and conveniently forgot to refund my money when he got home. I recommend offering to stay on the phone while the refund gets sorted. Good luck - let us know how you get on! |
