Hi guys,
I'm looking to purchase pendulums (loads of them). I don't want expensive ones, rather ones that are fit for purpose at a low cost, which can be handed out to large audiences to do groupwork. Can anyone guide me? Thanks, Bob

Sounds like you need to have a rummage at a tacky jewellery shop.
Bijou Brigitte is a chain I´ve seen that sometimes carries the type of thing you might find useful. Stones: http://www.group.bijou-brigitte.com/epag......elsteine Chains: http://www.group.bijou-brigitte.com/epag....../Schmuck you might be able to mix and match. Claires is another one: http://www.claires.eu/ I found a pretty cheap pendulum about a week ago. You know when you get dragged round the sales by your other half? - I had a gander at the "bisuterÃa" (cheap jewellery) section and found a crystal on a long chain that is weighted rather nicely for use as a pendulum. Think it cost me 6 euros.
If you never fail, you're not trying hard enough.

Just google 'Pendulums Wholesale' and a whole array of stores will pop up.It's mesmerizing just looking at the variety.
But I think that they still may be too expensive. Another alternative is to purchase stone, gem or crystal pendants from a bead store and have the spectators put the ribbon/string on. This may get the price down. Just some examples: http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?pn=H201992NB http://www.artbeads.com/cubic-zirconia-jewelry-pendants.html |

A long time ago I saw Max Maven on the Phil Donahue show. He did pendulum work with the entire studio audience and it went very well. He handed out string and washers and it worked fine.
