And come to that which do you prefer?
I am thinking a simple leveitation effect (or coins falling up) would be good to learn. Many thanks, Danny |

Coins falling up can also be done WITHOUT IT or loops. Google "muscle pass" and you'll find the method...or perhaps someone here can help.
That being said, I personally feel that loops are far easier to work with...just my personal preference. There is a great DVD on the use of loops...but I am having a severe case of cranial flatulence at the moment. It was for sale on the Café just a short while ago. I'll do a search and post it later.

Okay. It's a two-volume series called "Loops" (clever, eh?). It is by Yigel Mesika.

The Art of Levitation has a nice floating bill routine on it. Also the book Animated Miracles is very good. It might sound weird but the illustrations and explanations for the various effects are sufficient to learn and perform. I usually have a very hard time learning stuff using rope, rubberbands etc but this book was an exception.

I had never done ITR work prior to this year. Earlier this year I purchased Centrifugal by Magick Balay. I encourage you to check it out. I perform the effect of floating a wedding band and get great reactions. The set up is fast and it is easy to perform with a little practice. It is worth a look. Please note it can not do coins falling up.

I never really got on with ITRs myself and much prefer loops.
My son who works at Illusions in Bristol uses invisible thread (without an ITR) sometimes and also recommends the Jon Leclair dvd. |

Fearson's Master Levitation System.
Hands down, the guy is a master. Every time I watch it I come up with something new. Almost everything you can do with a L**p you can do with IT. You just have to figure out the application.
