I have a gimpy light heavy box that I would like to do in a kids show. my idea is a good vs evil superman theme with the box have the stolen whatever in it. but the bad guy knowing supermans weakness put kryptonite - green silk - in the box now superman cant lift it. etc....etc....
heres my challenge and where I need input. the LH box needs a solid immovable table to sit on and I cant lug one of those around. I thought of using the floor but what if they have carpet....so, I saw barry mitchells magic box....for his routine he uses a small piece of plexiglass (or something similiar) and places the box on this and carries it around. this to me if very doable but I have read some feedback that its not that practical because the audience just assume the box is somehow stuck to the plexiglass. any thoughts on using a piece of plexiglass and if so how to get around the assumption its just stuck to it. |

Hi!
I have actually fixed a pics of plexiglass on the top of my suitcase table. This way when I open it up the top of it has the plexiglass screwed to the top. I just rest the box on that and away I go. It makes sense to have it there because the top can get dirty/wet etc with your other tricks and it makes it easy to wipe clean at the end. Hope that helps! Mike |
