This is a post I had in mind for quite a long time but never dared to write for obvious reasons. Selfishly, I am asking for your help and can't offer that much myself.

Being 21, and having 12 years experience in magic, I'm very concerned with originality in my acts. However, coming up with new and truly funny gags ís really very difficult.

Some of you, who've been in magic for 40 years or even longer, probably have collections of hundreds of gags.
We are all sharing effects, techniques, couldn't we also share our funny lines?

Check out the Now that's funny section. I have posted gags to use to get child helpers onto the stage and one-liners to use if asked to repeat a trick. You did not state if you mainly performed for adults or children. There is a tape out there entitled GAGS , but I forget the author. Also Patrick Page birthday show tape has dozens of excellent gags, some of which could be used for adults.
