You can use white heat shrink tubing, if you need cigs that fold.

It's really difficult to make sponge look like a cigarette unless you get some kind of a covering for it. It can be done with liquid latex, but there are other substitutes that might work better.
Why don't you make a post in the secret sessions about this and then put a link to your post over here? This part of the forum is open to all, and we don't want to release too much info to the gilpins.

Ummmmmmmmmm.....Alan Munro's post about using white heat shrink tubing is right on the money..
If you take the time to fill-in and finish the tip with small red-glitter flakes, you've got a great prop for platform and stage manipulations. White heat shrink tubing-made cigs can also be nested,(I've got two nests of five each).....so you can get into a nice series of classic cigarette moves with these......great props.... |

Thanks Donnie...
I make foam cigars already.. http://www.raincloudfoam.com/products-pa......cco-road ..and I could make foam cigarettes. It's not an open cell foam, like sponge balls. The foam has a skin on it, so yes it would look like a real cigarette. Contact me if interested. Randi |

I saw a little latex cigarette made by one of the employees at a magic store once hat was constructed simply by sliding the tip of a green sculpting (long) balloon over about three inches of another sculpting balloon and a little bit of burnt tip on the end for effect. This may work very if you need a lot of them and have a small budget
