If you are interested in becoming a childrens magical entertainer you may well want to invest in the 3 DVD course by Mike Clarke from England
He's the most successful magical childrens entertainer in hIs region and what he teaches on the DVDs is the show he uses and has greatest success with Here's the link. It's on special Offer at the moment. http://www.thekidsmagician.com/entertainer-trainer/ Here's a bit of his blurb: Introducing the new 3-DVD "Become A Children's Entertainer" Set The brand new 'Become A Children's Entertainer' Set was filmed in May 2011, and is ideal for people interested in becoming a children's entertainer in the UK. It is particularly aimed at people looking to learn a solid, reliable, audience-tested magic show that is both easy to do and HUGELY entertaining for children. As a special summer offer, between 26th July and 26th August, the 3-DVD set costs just £50 (usual price £125) and includes: DVD 1 - The 45-minute Magic FUN Show - LIVE! This DVD shows you a live performance of my best-selling show, under "test conditions" (i.e. in a real life party environment) in front of an audience of 40 children ranging in ages from 2 to 11 years old. The show you'll see on this DVD is ideal for entertaining children aged 4-7 years old ( the majority of the shows I currently perform are for this age group.) This is the exact same show I have been performing at birthday parties, Christening parties, Family Fun Days and end of term school parties for the last 4 years. It is a show that gets me booked and re-booked week after week. |

Dearie me, old chap. You are going to get Chance Wolf very upset by advertising your products without his permission. Alas, I think your post is going to be deleted. Still, in the meantime I shall check you out and see if you are any good. I expect you aren't but I shall try not to prejudge you.

I have been and I have seen. Alas I cannot approve. I am afraid your attire when performing is letting down the good name of British magicians. I don't mind if Chance Wolf complains about you now.
And don't pretend that you are not Mike Clarke. Even the dimwits of the Magic Café will be able to see through that, you know. |

I must admonish Wolfie for chattering about wearing "panties". I do not doubt that he indulges in this sort of odd behaviour that I understand is particularly prevalent in California. However, what he does in the privacy of his own home is entirely his own affair and I am sure members of the Magic Café have utterly no wish to hear about it.

Is that the best insult you can come up with Marky?
You are losing your famous British wit and resorting to lame classic American Flip Flop insults. Come on...really show me what you got Marky!! I got a fever and Marky's insults are the cure!

Oh no, I can come up with more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more insults of greater effectiveness. However, I shall refrain from doing so since I am a VIP and you are not. One must be merciful to those of a lesser status particularly when they forget to shave.
And if you do really have a fever I am quite sure that you can find an American doctor to treat you for the usual fee of a hundred grand or so. Methinks you had better induce Potty to spend more money with you. Alas, I fear that your fever is of psychological origination and can never be cured. |

Mark,
"Lesser status"... That's a bold claim coming from the one person who has probably posted more junk and wasted more space on the Café than any other user! I do imagine the Café is in the process of allotting a new server for "British Junk," which may very well be filled with 1325 posts all belonging to a single user. Marky, be a good boy old chap and remember that your visions of grandeur come only from the quantity of idiotic posts you've made, not the quality. Be along with you now, go have a cup of tea (or brush your teeth). Best Wishes! Kevin Chance - famous British wit? From Mark? Don't flatter him. His head is overdue for an explosion as it is! |

I have been an American all my life, but I must say that I find Mark Lewis's posts to be quite humorous and the sarcasm and wit really come through. The users that are barking back are coming off to me the equivalent of a spectator yelling at the guy in the dunk tank. He's there to chide you and get your blood boiling and you guys are just falling for it hook, line, and sinker. Granted, I don't know the history between these folks, but it seems that Mark Lewis is getting the last laughs here. I don't know any of you, but that's how it reads to me.
"However, I shall refrain from doing so since I am a VIP and you are not. One must be merciful to those of a lesser status particularly when they forget to shave." - How can you take that so seriously? He's clearly just being humorous. IMO anyways... |

BTW, the Café member who started this thread, "shouksmiths", is not Mike Clarke. How do I know? I know Mike and I asked him.
I also have part of this new course and I'll be listening to it over the next few days. - Donald

Jay,
Don't mistake playful banter and joking posts for "barking." Mark is quite fond of exchanges like this, and we're only joking each other. If you read many of his posts you'll soon understand his tone and his way of "playing with" other members on the forum. I hope Chance and I came across as simply posting replies, no harm intended. The DVD course looks interesting. The demo video turns me off because it doesn't seem to come from a professional, but I think he states in the demo that the video is just for those who are starting out. That being said, I'd rather hear it from a professional, especially if I was just starting out. Donald, let us know what you think, we'll be anxious to hear your review. |

I believe you when you say it isn't Mike, but did shouksmiths join the magic Café just to plug Mike's DVD's? Couldn't Mike persuade someone with a few more posts to brag about his course? Let us know if Mike does all of his shows in shabby clothes?

The Café member "shouksmiths" joined the Café in November 2009. Look at his profile. He also has a couple of posts on a thread about egg ......in 2010.
I have no idea who it is, nor if Mike asked him to post. Mike hasn't been on the Magic Café for years and years. Mike wears a branded golf shirt (branded to Magic Mike Clarke) and dress pants for his performances. - Donald
