If you were busking at an outdoor car show what would you perform? I think a car theme would be in order here. I haven't had a chance to think about it much but incorporateing car parts would be an idea. Let you imaginations run wild, but lets try to come up with practical ideas for the street in either doorway shows or circle shows.

Magicsoup,

I've done this before with great response.

The demographic at a car show is that most people attending think in much the same way you as a performer does.

They are creative thinkers. Just look at the thousands and tens of thousands of dollars they put into creating masterpieces they call cars. Gorgeous paint jobs. Flawless lighting. Engines that roar. These people appreciate thinking outside the box.

I pretty much do my standard street act.
One thing I'll say is that if you use a Cups and Balls, make sure your cups are polished to a sparkle!

Normally when I perform I want my Gazzo cups a bit tarnished. It gives them character.
But remember, chrome is king at a car show. Everything shines. For this reason the more shine you can give your props the better.

As for doing a 'car theme' - sure why not!
For final loads perhaps using shifter knobs from various different cars and if you did Gazzo's 'melon' load, perhaps fuzzy dice or something of that nature?

Other tricks - any card effect but buy a deck with classic cars on it.

Perhaps the card effect where the little car finds the selected card?

Or maybe even a card through glass using the windshield of a '57 Chevy ya know?

A little background on my original post. Where I live we just had our big car show. During the night they have live bands and lots of stuff going on so I don't think a street show would really work. I biked through the show yesterday during Daylight hours and wow, what a crowd!

I produce a jumbo crayon in my show, maybe I could produce a bottle of Amour All. What would I do with it after producing it? I do confusing crayons with the crayon.
Thanks for the response Robert. You had some great ideas, especially the card through glass.
