Avoid the ordering via the internet, if possible. That's very true. We have a similar store here in Vegas where I bought two stands, one "tall"(38")for myself and one "standard"(32") height for my son who is 13. Some were more stable than others, and even with looking them all over, the standard stand still ended up to be not quite square with the world. I didn't notice this until one fateful day when Gazzo came to town for LVMI and needed a table. I brought in the tall one, only to have Gazzo look at it and say "No thanks" so I went home and dug out my son's stand. We learned about the unevenness that night as Gazzo was producing orange after orange and the table was teetering precariously back and forth. I really thought the melon would have caused the whole thing to flip, landing in Roger Klause's lap, but Gazzo pulled it off like a pro. The "tall" stand is really too tall by itself, but if you cut off the straps and replace them with adjustable luggage straps, you can adjust it down to a reasonable height, with the added bonus of widening the top making for a more stable surface.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
