Off the top of my head,
Sympathy For The Devil
It's amazing, people will criticize you for "biting the hand that feeds you," while they're busy praising the hand that beats them.

Gimme Shelter tops it.

Short list includes Heartbreaker, Sympathy, Angie, Wild Horses, and Paint it Black

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

Man Lobo we are in tune this week. Gimme Shelter hands down for me.

"Can't you hear me knocking" is in my top 3 as are a couple already mentioned. Love the guitar intro and playing throughout...

Gimme Shelter does indeed rock.

Hey, am I the only one who liked their disco era stuff? I think Beast of Burden is just wonderful.

Beast of Burden is definitely in my top 5.

But I have to say I have a soft spot for Angie 'cause of slow dancing in junior high. Sigh.

Beast of Burden is great.
I also am fond of Saint of Me.

Oh yeah, Angie was great. Tori Amos did a fantastic cover of it.

The entire album they made parodying The Beetles. Parody isn't quite right, but they also were neither mocking, nor imitating. Parody was as close as I could come to the right word off the top o' my head.

Never been real big on the Stones. I do like some of their stuff. I think Satisfaction tops it for me.

Gimme Shelter for sure... but it's only in front of
Sympathy for the Devil
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Let's Spend the Night Together
Street Fighting Man

by a nose.

1)Satisfaction
2)Time is on my Side
2)Paint It, Black
3)As Tears Go By

But I did lose interest in them by the mid 80s.

Their Satanic Majesty's Request, with the not quite 3-D cover mimicking the cover of Sgt. Pepper, is probably what you're thinking of. I think in later runs they didn't have the jazzy cover, but I had one from England (I forget what label though. Maybe Decca? Parlephone?).

You may be uniquely qualified to help me out with another distinction that I'm finding harder to make. What's our favorite song by The Who?
