Action packed entertainment! just as I remembered it as a Kid! Tonny Petersen 76 yrs young! Crash Moreau 61 and Johnny Wisner 64 were the main Drivers! "Wrong Way" the Stunt Clown was a Kid named Justin, in College, learnin his Craft with the Masters! The Hour and a Half show was fast paced and non-stop action w/ all the cornball thrill show Jokes that kept the Folks laughin and Grandma Groanin..YEE_HAAA!!!...after the Show I headed to the Pits and cut-up Jack-pots (exchange of amusing stories + antedotes) w/ Ole Pal Crash, Tonny..Good Times!!...All I can say is if the Tonny Petersen Helldrivers rolls yer way "Don't cha Miss It !!" and See It Now, or Miss It forever!!!...Literally....

When I was a kid they had auto thrill shows at most every fair.
That's back when fairs were cheap entertainment for the entire family.

I love that ole wooden, covered grandstand at Lake County Fair with the
big spring-fed lake covering the infield. One time I rode my Giant Steer,
Big Bill, down to the lake for a swim the day after the fair. He really
enjoyed himself. Sorry, no photos of that one.

And the "Free Until Three" is one of the great fairground promotions.
It really gets the people out during the day so everyone can make a few
bucks. Too many fairs today try to collect all the money at the gate.
They have forgot their job is getting crowds on the grounds.

Sounds like perfect weather for a fair...looks like a Red One for
the Ole Curator.

Free before three--nah we had a fair that did that on Friday's for some reason--ruined Saturday. They cut that nonsense out. Now at least "Three before Three" means you have at least a few pre-qualified buyers out there, not the entitlement class that seems to permeate the midway these days. BTW am up here on the Canadian Border, on the American side at least. Now I can say we play from the Mexican to the Canadian Border. Really strange those folks from up north--they are shifty indeed, stealing our tv signals, music, heck they even use the same words as us...gotta keep an eye on them folks, no telling what they are up to....

I recently bought a semi trailer from the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show.
In this video you'll see a pickup truck with a Roman Rider platform across the bed.
