That is what I hear from my wife all the time about the sideshow. Short of divorce, how do you respond to that type of comment?

I respond to that the same way I respond to people thinking the Brazil nut is a nut. When its a seed in fact. Ive wasted too much thought on this topic already.hahah

She has it backwards. My favorite position.
Magic tricks are tricks. Sideshow stunts are real. Nah, I suggest you just fight over much sillier things. Like, if pros and cons are opposite then the opposite of progress would be congress. GO. |

I don't think it is "stupid stuff". I think it is far more incredible than any magic trick, and a lot more entertaining. I get much better reactions with sideshow, which I love, than I do with "regular" magic. But she hates it.

Time to admit it again....When it comes to marriage...I'm a lucky guy....In the summer of 63 I met a girl IN A SIDESHOW TENT...2 weeks later she joined the troupe and 48 years later she STILL HERE...She worked the blade box,spun candy, laced canvas, hung sidewall,did web,drove truck and put up with me...and ,oh yeah she's a good cook too...Who wouldn't LOVE a woman like this?
