An easy finger clip of the linked ones works just fine for me. I used to do it using a TT and that works fine as well.

I would think the best way would be using a TT. Well at least it'd probably be the cleanest way and then you could simply ditch the TT later on in the routine.

Any coin switch can pretty much be adapted to rubberbands. the main thing to remember is to ditch those unlinked rubber bands immediately. maybe in a topit. for me there are so many ungimmicked rubber band effects that I don't bother with the linking.

Can anyone give me some simple instruction in melting one rubber band through another?
I've watched several videos, among them Jay Sankey and Larry Anderson; and I've read a routine from Mark Wilson. I just can't seem to make it look like they're melting through each other. Any pointers will be most welcome! Thanks ...

After I do the dirty work, I rapidly rub the bands on each other. The spec presumes that they're still linked. I then "melt" one strand at a time through the other band.

As to switching a rubber band.. I agree that the TT is an easy way to do it. If you want to avoid using such props then just use the classic Shuttle Pass. Mat Random |
