I need help finding the name and use of this old coin set sitting on my magic drawer for many years. The set consist of a Johnson unexpanded Hong Kong coin shell with a copper/half dollar silver insert and one regular Johnson Hong Kong coin.

Is this possibly an incomplete copper-silver-brass?

Sounds like a C/S/B or a variation of 'The Chinese Bit'.
Why do you think it's incomplete? Just add a normal half dollar and matching copper coin (is it an English Penny?) and you are in business mate.

Johnson's Chinatown? Does the shell have a flesh colored spot of paint?
