I have the trick, but I cannot find a way to put the coins in my hand without them making noise. When they hit each other they make a hollow sound, which would tip the spectators off that it is not a solid coin. Does anyone have a method of doing this trick without making the coins hit and make that hollow sound? thanks

Gee, haven't done that trick in years...thanks for reminding me! I love that trick!!
I remember that problem. Adjust your patter so you are speaking at that moment. In other words...talk over the talk. Another way is to perform it only at loud parties and heavy construction sites. |

Bring each coin toward the other one at an angle. When they touch, with the edge of one making contact with the side of another coin, then bring the coins parallel to each other. This helps me to cut the noise dramatically when working with similar gaffs. You'll still have to move at a slow pace when bringing the coins together. However, if the set rattles when nested, you may have to apply masking tape to the inside of a sh*** or sh***s.
