I've been writing down some ideas recently for thought reading. They allow you to predict and/or name literally any thought a spectator has, without the use of writing, swamis, dual reality, or the like. One of them, Verbatim, is to be the foundation for a possible effect I've been working on called the Grail, wherein the mentalist names any word the spectator thinks of.
This is a book not of theory or presentational aspects; there are many of those, but purely of (hopefully new) thought reading/predicting techniques. Dicticious - A dictionary test of sorts, wherein you write/name a thought of word, without it being written or named. Precog - Predict words, numbers, cards, anything you like. Words of Wonder - A stack of examinable business cards with words on them that allow you to reveal anything, or predict any word a spectator merely thinks of. Digitalis - Predict a number between 1 and 100 written on a card you've been holding the entire time, without a swami, pocket writer, switching, or any such trickery. You honestly are holding the actual card in front of you the entire time, and the number the spectator names is actually on it before they name it. You then quickly jump into a book test using this method. On occasion using this method I have actually named the exact number a spectator was thinking of, skipping the card and the book completely, yet with no risk. Verbatim - A verbal word force for whenever you need one. Short and simple, I have gotten wonderful reactions from this one. So here it goes, the next 5 individuals to PM me with their email address get the book in its current state, and will be asked for their honest thoughts and possible presentations. Kind Regards, DekEl

Honest opinion:
Dicticious: interesting idea, but just an impromptu book test do the work more directly. Precog: Not to well constructed routine. Words of Wonder : Old idea, Annemann and Osterlind. Digitalis: Same as dicticious Verbatim: Interesting no prop effect. Rate: 60% the effects needs credits.thanks for the copy |

You're right! You spelled it "dicticious." That's even worse!
(My misspelling was actually a bit less obvious) Bob PS: My coffee was delicious this morning. You might say it was "Cofficious." |

I've been away from the Café for a while, as well, and I just realized how much I missed being regularly amused by Mr. Cassidy's humorous insights and asides. Dictitious...LOL!.....can I guess how the routine starts?... "I can only read your mind if you are thinking dirty thoughts!"
