Hello I am trying to find a thumbtip
I know of the vernet classic HARD thumb tip which is to big for my thumb.
I know of also a medium sized thumbtip but it is SOFT.

Does anyone know about a thumbtip like the vernet classic which is medium sized and HARD?
I am having trouble finding one like it.

You have to try them out to get the right one.
I don't know what it cost to ship to Iceland but if you want I can stuff a bunch of different sizes in an envelope for you to try out.
$10.00 for thr tips and whatever the shipping is.
If there's a shop there they would let you try a bunch of them out too.
P.S. Try it on a finger instead.

Try using the TT on your index, middle or ring fingers instead. I use them that way all the time. Depending on the effect/routine, sometimes it makes it easier.

I hope the following is not confusing to you, but you also have to look at the size of items you will be using with the thumb tip - sometimes it pays to have an oversized tip. For example, you want to vanish a 45.72cm square silk (18 inches, I think?), a larger tip would be needed. If you use the tip properly, nobody will ever see it, no matter how big or small it is.

I hope this information is useful to you.
