I saw a recent post on the zig zag illusion and something called "Zig Zag Outdone" was mentioned. The effect was similar to the classic zig zag except the middle block completely slid out and hit thr floor. I was curious if anybody knows anymore about this illusion (who makes it, where you can get it, etc.) that they would like to share.

It is in the randy woodbury's book one I believe. Buy the book to see if you like the workings. Perhap some one can tell you forsure which book its in.

I worked for Carnival Cruise lines in the early 90s and Rand Woodbury was a cruise director for them. He told me he did the Zig Zag Outdone for a short while, but abandoned it because it was so hard for the assistants to do (plus, he went to some other illusions, like Origami and Interlude.)
