My friends told me to get the book entitled 'At the Card Table'. They told me that it is a very good book.
Should I get it?? Are the instructions in the book clear?? |

what else have you got already? To answer your question, it is a good book. One of the older classic's. But if it is your first card book, I would get something else instead.

I am guessing that you are talking about S.W. Erdnase's Expert at the Card Table. This is a great book to study, but, as jcards01 pointed out, if you are new to magic, you should probably start with something else.
I would recommend The Royal Road to Card Magic or Card College 1 if you are interested in cards, or Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic if you would like to approach magic in general. Another good book is Bill Tarr's Now You See It, Now You Don't. You should probably take a look at the thread at the top of this forum here. It will give you some good advice for starting out in magic. Emily B.

There is also another book entitled At the Card Table by Darwin Ortiz. This is also a very good book on the subject of card magic that I wouldnt recommend for a beginner. It is worth looking into in the future though.
