I remember several years ago (probably about 10) I went to deliver a prop to Vince Carmen at Geauga Lake Park up my way. He remarked they some great pneumatic flea circus that were on carts that college kids were doing in the park for the summer. I think is when Warner Bros. was part of the park. He remarked how good it was but he felt sorry for the kids as they had no PA to work with.
I wonder what happened to all those and who made them originally. They were made into roll around vendor style carts. Richard

I love the Flea Circus!
I guess I like it so much for reasons that are different from other magi. First, there is the dichotomy of real/fake. The second reason is that it allows me to perform any kind of magic and still have a "rational" explanation as to why it happens. For example, I can do anything from a color change to metal bending in the same show and give the credit to my flea sized performers. I have searched for and about and researched Flea Circuses here and in Europe. While I could give you all of the results of my research, I think that it is best to let you know that half of the fun is in finding the answers. I bought Walt Noon's kit, Palmer's booklet and hundreds of individual ideas and tricks that could be performed in the Circus. Svenson makes a beautiful circus and on this side of the pond, Chuck Caputo puts together some nice kits. All of these range in price from less than $100 to many thousands of dollars. Finally, I put all of the ideas together and "created" my own show. I found what I believed to be the ideal backdrop, case and acts. I performed this for several years. Then, I had a personal epiphany and started working with cigar boxes. I'm happy to share my ideas with other magicians and would gladly visit with anyone about the wonderful world of the flea circus. I have every reason to believe that I will be training fleas for the rest of my life. Peace, Parson

I saw a flea circus from a distance last week. Obviously it's a close up trick for about 15/20 people. I like it very much, but I am not in to close up.

Due to an injury, Parson Smith won't be at the Magicians' Flea Market this Friday and Saturday. We'll have to reschedule him later.
But there are loads of other things there and it's FREE! You are invited! http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......m=31&150 http://MagicValleyMagic.com Bob Sanders Magic by Sander |

For someone starting out, I don't think you can go wrong with the Walt Noon package. For $50 you will get a wealth of information that (for me) I have not been able to find through any other published source. Yes, Walt incorporates automation for some things, but you don't have to follow that path. I think the many, many little things I learned from Walt's DVD more than paid for itself. There is still a HUGE amount of room for injecting your own creativity. If you want to just follow what Walt shows you, you will be 80% there. If you don't, you can first learn from Walt and then use that as a spring board for your own ideas. What you learn from Walt, in my opinion, will let you skip a lot of trail, error and pain.

Hi everyone
Anyone knows if Water Noon is still in "business"? I want to buy the DVD for my "special" project, but I don't receive any response till now. Anyone knows if there are another "source" of information (even in second hand material) Thanks in advance Seven |

Walt is very much in "business". I got a couple of responses from him last week. He is a true gentleman and very helpful. He has continued to provide me updates for a product purchased 5 or 6 years ago.
