Well, it finally happened. I have been booked for a show by the owner of an Adult Shop in the town where I live. The owner of the shop explained to me he had seen a trick performed many years ago where a bra appeared tied between 2 scarves. He specifically asked if I could do this trick. After speaking with him for a few minutes, it was explained to me, the party is very much adult only and held in his home for between 40 and 50 people and Blue material is very much expected.
So now I'm on a quest to find a good Baffling Bra set-up. He agreed to my fee for the show, so the cost of the Baffling Bra set-up is no issue and I would like to find the best out there. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very much interested in hearing from you. |

The loftus brand baffling bra is carried by most shops, acetate silks hide the bra nicely and the bra is believeable.

If you are going to do this effect, and the man that hired you already seen the trick, then it would be good to surprise him.

Nonvpro, Every one of the marketed ones I have ever seen look pretty cheap and not very much like real underwear. It is easy to make one yourself by creating a 20th century silk with a store bought bra.

Loftus Baffling Bra and the 3 cup bra look like the real deal to me. Of couse I don't wear them LOL, but they are like the real thing.
It would cost more then the listed prices to make one yourself, and you cannot use them "as is" from a bra store or department, unless you get one of those training bras for little girls. |

There is a reason one should approach this one very carefully. I can see how for some magicians it could be a very strong piece but you have to know your "persona" and your "audience" as this amateur magician found out!!!!

The first time I saw this effect was when I was around 10 years old. The Magician was excellent! He did not use a female, he used a male. The audience loved it and it did not embarrass a young lady. Just a thought! Regards, John

I've done it for Churches. I first asked the pastor who said "they all wear them, don't they?".
Schools, senior shows, very few occasions are left out. I have been smacked in the mouth once in a while. ----------- I only did the Ding Dong in bars and one time for 1500 women. (I was opening for a male review...on competitive). I did that and the bra trick.

Funny how people will get offended/fired/resign over a stupid funny magic trick. yet beer drinking murdering cartoons on easy to access media are socially accepted. its the job of the clown.magician.entertainer to bring this to light thru their art.
