The celebrity endorsements you have are the only redeeming feature as far as I'm concerned. There is a long list of products that I consider to be garbage that were given recommendations by respected names. Off the top of my head I remember Sean Waters giving endorsement to Jay Crowe's - The Game... that was garbage.
These endorsements are given for all sorts of reasons - maybe they didn't want to hurt your feelings? Or maybe they really do like it. Or maybe I am wrong and its not garbage. There is a real trend at the moment of repackaging hypnosis and visualization material along with techniques used by 'genuine' alternative medicine practitioners as mentalism. I'm starting to think it is ten a penny.

Most of the junk I own has an endorsement from respected name or names !
Not saying this is bad,but of lately...75% purchased,does not match the hype. -G

Amira I have answered your PM as best I can. I'll answer it slightly different here. First of all I have no idea why you suggest that I am unhappy with anyone offering a reading system to the community. I'm not. But like a couple earlier posters I too am not sure what IS being sold.
But I did read this... Quote:

Cards are used in mentalism for different mind experiments.
Cards are used in poker to play Cards are used in magic to do tricks. Cards are used in family games to have nice moments. Same tool, different uses. LDE can be used for Remote Healers to start the healing work. LDE can be used for psychics to create a deeper connection with his client before any reading. LDE can be used for mentalist to enhance his own performances.

I disagree with how you think. I understand everything you say but I do not like the justification of putting commercialism alongside spiritual or healing elements. It's that simple.
You see no problem with that. You're not a bad person, you just don't see anything wrong with it  That's okay.

So without giving away a script or methods - what would this performance of LDE look like?
You've said that it can enhance a performance and create a connection and act as a convincer... but these are all results of using LDE. It is about as useful as saying to us that an effect "will amaze people". What does it look like?

The description of LDE is blurry because the performance itself should be only available to real interested , the ones who already got the document , or the 10 lucky ones who will take this chance.
This idea is 50% performance and 50% method, so it isn't fair to share in public what LDE looks like.

Hi all,
I'm a purchaser of LDE, and I only wanted to help my friend Amirá to clear something. LDE is not a healing technique, but a rapport technique that works as a convincer too. If we were healers (that we won't) we could use it BEFORE a healing session, if we were mentalists (...) we could use LDE before amy experiment that needs rapport or the illusion of a energetic/psychic/psychological connection (mind reading, distant touches,...). About the effect itself. It can not be openly published because here the most important is the effect, not the method. Anyway, I really like LDE but I din't try it yet (I know other people who uses it successfully). Best |

Web Therapy, anyone? Not the greatest show but Lisa Kudrow is pretty funny as an "ethics free" therapist using this modality of treatment. The idea of the "3 Minute Hour" is also a hoot.
A scary aside on this topic to take it off on a completely unrelated tangent for a breather. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Sex Therapist I used to work with at a hospital left to pursue private practice with an emphasis on web therapy. Today I just read in the paper that he got busted for sexual misconduct with a patient. In his office, not online. Sadly, none of us who worked with him can say we are surprised. The totally inappropriate response of the authorities and licensing board is that he has to have three years of his own therapy and is no longer allowed to treat female patients! He shouldn't be treating ANY patients in my opinion. Taking this back on track, I must admit I struggle with blurring the lines between mentalism and healing as seems to be the trend of late. Even though I think they failed to take appropriate action, at least there is a governing board to report the abuse mentioned above. Flame on! |
