I'm trying to find a source for zener cards at relatively low cost. I don't want marked cards, and I certainly don't want bicycle backs. The Rhine Institute has them, but they sell a kit, most of which I don't need, for $25, and I'd prefer to pay about half that. Any ideas would be most welcome.

You'll find Zener (ESP) symbol graphics in appropriate resolutions in the web easily.
So get those symbols and print your own cards.
This is obviously the cheapest low cost option.

Try googling "esp cards" or "esp cards for sale". Just ignore the markings if you don't want to use them. I see a set under $6.

I got Beyond ESP 3 from Magicbox and they are really good.

they ARE marked though they would really pass as regular, bicycle stock but not bicycle backed and at £15 is almost the price you want. You get 50 regular cards (25 red, 25 black) and some extras.

Good solid back on them and great condition, good routines too if you want to try them. May not be for you but really worked for me, makes me want to use them more.

Don't be put off by the marking, it doesn't matter and the solid black backs make for good tools.

The Beyond ESP deck is the Cadillac. I love this and use it, but it's pricey for your needs.

The MK-MOD cards include an unmarked deck. They are much more expensive than your budget, but they do include some useful gaff, including a marked deck.

Gentlemen, thank you for the suggestions. I've home printed mine in the past, but I'm not thrilled with the results, I couldn't find the Piatnik cards, I spent an hour and a half with google before I posted this, ebay, amazon, and the Rhine Institute as well, and the Royal magic cards look cheap. I'm hoping the Rhine Institute will cut me a deal on several. Thanks again.

Does anyone have a link for large (approx. 7" x 5") black only (non-bicycle) ESP/Zener Cards? If so, I would appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sean,

A stage version of our PLF ESP cards are currently in print.
They are about the doubled size of the standard PLF ESP deck.

In case that you are interested to give them a try, simply drop me a line, ... Smile

Cheers

Hi Serge,

as I said, the cards are currently in print. According to the printing company's scheduling, we should get the stage sets at the end of this week.
But before we offer them in public, we have to check the quality first. As for every new product there is a remote possibility that we have to return the decks when their quality isn't as ordered.
Obviously we don't expect this - but it's possible; and we are no friends of pre-selling a product that we don't have in our hands.

We will keep you informed.
Thanks for your interest anyway! Smile

Cheers
