So, my sister-in-law-to-be makes celebration cakes on the side and she's been asked to make a floating Tardis (as in Dr Who) cake.

I'm a bit stumped.

I have no idea, but it you figure something out (or get some help from here) I REALLY want to see this cake!

Clear acrylic disk on the bottom? Makes it look like it's floating. Unless viewed edge on, the overhanging cake would hide the support.

Or suspend it on a metal plate over a powerful magnet, and make sure the knife used to cut it is ceramic Smile
