Richard Osterlind has a great routine as well. That's the one I perform. I agree that this is not a close up effect.

There will be several routines on the Linking Finger rings, (including no stooge/no switch ways)as well as the history (and Koran's original handlinf) in my soon ready book, "The real secret of the linking rings."

Another book? We'll have to open a Pete Biro branch of the public library!

I'm really stoked and honored, Pete Biro just read my version and give it a thumbs-up.
I respect everything he's given to magic, and I can't wait for his book! Magically, Walt |

The best handling I could found is on Marc DeSouza's Master Works of Conjuring Vol 2.
It's very clean! He uses some Tim Conover's ideas and the Joe Porper version of the ring. You don't need to have the Joe Porper version (of course is the best but is expensive!), you can do it with the StaggeRing and add the finale explained by Pete Biro on the Greater Magic Dvd. |

I heard just last week that Cervon routine is coming out in the future by a performer who Cervon thought his routine. Cant say more at the moment.

Does anyone with the porper ring feel that it is passable as a normal ring for everyday wear?

Trentonmatthew, Yes, if you are a size US 10 or 11.
As for handling, Scott Alexander has a great handling on one of his Penguin lectures and just recently Marc Paul on his Alakazam Online Academy had a very inexpensive version on his take of the original handling which was excellent in it's simplicity. Osterlind's handling is a classic for good reason. All of these can be aquired without great expense. |
