I recently came across Paul Prater's book, "The Magic of the Medicine Show," and was hoping to get some opinions from anyone who may have read the book.
Moreover, I would be interested in any other Medicine Show resources you may recommend. With thanks to all,

Magic Inc. in Chicago has a bunch of medicine show booklets. And they are pretty cheap too.

I have one that will set you on the right path. It has been well accepted and, if I may say so, is much more practical than others on the market. There are plans on making your own pop-out Kiester, props, has some scripting, and discusses why most attempts at a Med Show are dead in the water before they begin.
It runs about $20 or so from dealers,H&R, ,or me....don't waste your time getting that $10one on EBay. It's useless.

Tom's book is a great resource!
Though I didn't follow the (easy to follow) plans, it got me thinking and building a couple of new pieces. I'm just not a good follower.
