I LOVE your art work.

Rabbit looks fine.

And not busy.

Most artists draw hearts so the
animal looks like they love you.

That what they did on the art work
I've had done.

So you have art work for each venue?

The purpose of the logo was to direct it at the Children's Entertainment Market. I wanted a soccer mom to be able to see this logo and instantly know exactly what she was getting from the image. From the lay folks that I have showed, I "THINK" that I have done just that. This is not going to be used for Corporate Marketing...

Still too busy, I think. Just make it as simple as possible, and you have a great image. Not really what I consider a "logo", but still a great image. I think you should lose the rings, cards, ballooon dog, magic wand, and some text. Why not suck it and see?

I really like the image, Chris, but I still think it's too busy. My opinion. I also use "Rabbid", and I absolutely can assure you that the evil rabbit will appeal to kids. Truly, it can be far more evil, and it will work it's wiles even more brilliantly. But is it really important to have the rings in hand? The balloon dog? The wand underneath? (without the wand, you could make the text larger.) I also agree that you should just concentrate on your skills with that text - magic and balloons. Forget "fun" and "comedy".....the picture says that already. Or, use "comedy magic", if you think it's important. Remember that "less is more", my opinion is you should forget this text entirely. You're holding a balloon model (flower) in the image...this tells folks you make balloons. If it were me, I'd have a much fancier balloon - but do you make very fancy balloons?

I agree with Potty. You've got a fun image, the start of a good coloring sheet, but that's no logo. Good luck trying to fit all of that onto a sticker, or letterhead. The text will be so small on most of it, people won't read it (or be able to read it!). You just have a lot of things you don't need. And the generic terms "comedy" "magic" and "fun" are just killing me! (but that's fine, cause it's just my opinion!)

Look at some popular logos. Coke. Pepsi. Disney. Fedex. Apple. Even magicians! Look at Ken Scott. Mac King. They're all VERY SIMPLE. Yours is a cute drawing, but you've missed the boat on a logo.

I'm glad you're happy with your final logo, just keep in mind that what you have there is a very, very busy logo. And as Potty said, sometimes less is more!

I'm glad to know that your marketing to a kids audience, you've got great possibilities with the artwork.

Best Wishes! - Kevin

P.S. - Please tell me this logo isn't going on your current website?

That looks way better. It's still a little busy for a logo, but you're the one that has to be happy with it.

I think you should get rid of the flower. It doesn't fit with the theme.

That's so much better! I think the balloon flower should stay, because it says that you make balloon models. I like that there is no text telling everyone what they can already see in the image. Text naturally calls to our brains to read it, and is a distraction from the image itself.
I think though, that the card in the sleeve is also unneccessary.
And now that I can concentrate on the important elements, how about a slightly nervous look on your face? Perhaps one raised eyebrow? I think it would add a little comedy to the image.

I have to disagree, (Sorry) I like Sample Number 8 Better. The Only change I would have made was the Hat. It looks out of place. But from a lay persons perspective it tells all that you do ( Magic, Comedy, Fun Balloons) Looking at sample #9 I can see that your a Magician but it doesn't screem Balloon artist to me (even with the balloon in your hand) just my two cents.

I understand the whole clarity of logo thing, but I like Sample #8 better.

Sample 8 is the one I'm going with...I had the artist do the other one based on Potty's suggestion...maybe I'll use 9 somewhere else...who knows?

I fully understand what others on here have stated...don't get me wrong. The principals stated are correct. Yes contemporary logos should be minimal, easy to read at any size, convert to one colour well, but this isn’t a corporate logo, this is more like a poster really, something that is bright, colourful and exciting. Something that people will see on a poster, banner, or side of a van and it will actually draw there attention to it, and importantly they will remember it. If there was a wall full of posters, and this was in the middle of a bunch of other original, minimal, normal logo designs, which do you think will capture a kid, or their parents, attention first? That was the idea...

The only place I will use this logo is on my new website so I don't have to worry about it shrinking down for a business card.

@dearwiseone...this is NOT going on my current website. I am having a new website geared for children and family bookings worked up and this logo will appear on that website. My current website is going to be geared for the Corporate market. Smile

Sample #8 is great. I would only add eyes to the balloon dog that's it .

I Like 8 better than 9, although I like the no dog factor on number 9. 8 without the dog would be my choice.

I'm still amazed at the ammount of work Scott at Look Design put in to get one logo done. I don't know how he is making any proffit. The only thing I don't like is that we now all have similar looking logos.
