Hi folks,
I would like to offer 3 copies of my latest eBook. The first three persons that send me a PM would get a copy. This routine is basically inspired by Roy Walton's "The Overworked Card" and I also offer 3 variations that can be applied to other card work. Thanks. I agree with Cameron, very magical, and the magic part happens while a specator is holding the deck.
I've purchased a number of ebooks from Andrew Loh, all of them terrific. |

I was among one of the lucky few who received a review copy of this.
This is an excellent version of Roy Walton's "The Overworked Card" which I have always loved performing. Until I read Andrew's take on it (The Conjuror Card), I had never thought of using his handling which streamlines it and also makes it more visually deceptive when pushing face up cards into face down cards. I also really liked his Conjuror Triumph which achieves the same effect as described but allows you to have a spectator choose a card and have it be the only one face up card among the magically corrected face down deck. In addition to this, there's a two-selection version for multiple spectators. And for those who dislike half passes or just want to perform this a different way, Andrew also shares a non-half pass version which I thought was a nice touch to provide as an option. I took the opportunity to perform both The Conjuror Card and the one-selection Conjuror Triumph to some people and reactions were very good. One of the things I enjoyed was that I could cleanly "show" and push the face up cards into the face down cards...and then of course, ending with the magic in the spectator's hands really seals the deal. And I found that it made it that much more personal when the spectator was able to have a selected card added to this effect as per Conjuror Triumph. The ebook is 13 pages, well written with a hyper-linked table of contents, and includes several diagrams. Great job Andrew! |
