I remember our many phone conversations during the editing of The Art of Astonishment trilogy those many years ago.
I've watched your continuous growth, productivity and success over the intervening years and am very happy for you. I knew, as did Paul, that you were a very talented guy and would go far! I'm curious...do you still do some of the fine material you put in Book One? There were a half-dozen excellent effects of which License to Thrill was my favorite. As Paul would say, good luck little buddy. My best to you! Andre (they don't call me Andy around here)

Hello Andre,
Good to hear from you! Can you believe that that was over almost 17 years ago when working on Paul's book? WOW, where does the time go??? Yes, I still use some of that material. Recap. Vanish 5,000. License to Thrill. And a new version of 411. I think it's time to start putting out my own "art of astonishment." : ) Hope all is well in your corner for the world. Again, GREAT to hear from you! |

Yes, all is well in my world as I hope it is in yours. I was old when I edited and photographed the books and really old now, but magic has tendency to keep us young.
As magicians we have our toys to play with and always new things to learn. If you are creative like Paul and yourself you really stay young. Your own book would be a great idea and be sure to let another rising star have a voice in it too. It would be good karma for you. Best, Andre

Hope our paths cross again Andre!
I just hope that someone's Karma doesn't run over my Dogma. : ) |
