His books have some of the best money to value ratio on the magic market. PRACTICAL methods, direct plots, visual, commercial and fun to do. Check out his videos for more info.

He was very good. A bar magician who, like all bar magicians used direct stuff that was easy to follow. You need to have strong nerves and be able to misdirect. His stuff I've got of him is mostly cards. He was very good on outs.
If you are a bar magic type person get a book or video. You won't be sorry. Eddie |

Eddie why do you speak in past tense - "he WAS"
Isn't he still performing... |

He is still performing. In fact, he just did a couple of nights at The Magic Castle at the new W.C. Fields Bar (formerly the Hello Dolly Bar). His moves were as smooth as silk! He also has a regular gig down in San Diego though I don't know where. One thing J.C. said, and this is a quote "I'm back."

JC is from the old school. He is a wonderful talent, If you want to see a small packet effect that's truly a miracle get his video Queens Debate. JC has also pioneered the torn and restored card .

Wagner has very interesting material. His explainations are very thorough and thus great to learn from. I'd like to see him do a straight act instead of the charming comedy way he performs. I use comdey too, but I think he could really wow the folks just doing his cards stuff straight on. I think watching his explainations where he is talking very logically makes me think like this. Any thoughts on that, anyone ?
Not clever enough to come up with something orginal, or did I.

JC has WONDERFUL material! "Seven Secrets" is worth many times the asking price, as is "Commercial Magic." His Super Closer is one of the greatest card tricks ever, and it's nearly self-working!
Vinny's right--he's old school. Not a lot of flash and braggadocia, just killer magic that knocks his audience for a loop!

I have his first video and it is one of the best videos I own. It is full of strong, useable magic. And his work with estimation is the best. There are only three or four effects on the video that I don't use. Really a great asset for any performer.

His Queen's Debate is one of my favs. If anyone is interested J.C. has a vid out on his torn and restored card. It's called,"One Tear At A Time". These are great items to have. Fun to watch and study. J.C. is a down to earth, fun lovin' kind of guy. If it's got his name on it, I'll probably buy it.
