I'm still waiting to see Dean's photos of the book he has. Man what a thrill that would be to have a first edition. Almost as exciting as all the first editions I have of Darwin Ortiz's books.

Hi,
My grandmother passed away a couple years ago and I've been going through her house, cleaning out all the junk. The other day we found a first edition of "The Expert at the Card Table." It has a green bound cover and is called on the inside title page "Artifice Ruse and Subterfuge at the Card Table", which seems to be a commonly known title of the book. There are two little leafs after the cover page as well. The author is S. W. Erdnase, and the copyright is 1902 also by S. W. Erdnase. It is in excellent condition, no torn pages or anything (although of course the pages are yellow). I saw that two copies on liveauctioneer.com have sold between $2,000 and $5,000,but I was hoping you might be able to tell me where a good place to try and sell it might be. If anyone is interested, my email is mkc48@law.georgetown.edu - the book is currently located in Los Angeles, CA. Mike |

Hi guys,
I have finally decided to part with my 1st Edition 'Expert at The Card Table', Erdnase (1902) - a touch decision. I have also collected a number of Erdnase related items to accompany my 1st Edition. This 1st Edition is located in the UK and I am willing to ship world-wide obviously with the necessary postal insurances etc. If any of you are genuinely interested in owning this rare copy of the book then please get in touch for further details: deanbarlowuk@hotmail.com I will not be letting it go for a nothing so will be looking for the current market value so only seriously interested people please get in touch. Thanks for reading guys, Dean |
