Well,i could not see how the Nestorizer gimmick could make the deck move after the spectator had made the cut.
Shooting the card out yes but moving the deck - I doubt that!
Looking forward for the release date and price Smile

I don't believe it does as you never answer his question..... This looks great!

Also I don't see no guessing game going on here just simple reasonable questions.. makes me wonder why it seem Peter or you don't want answer them...

Now all I need to do is to wait and watch ... & time will soon reveal the facts. Smile

Anyway, good luck for the release.

This is simple to achieve. It will depend on the position the gimmick placed in the deck and is ready for the spectator to complete the cut just before the approximate timeframe when the gimmick gets ready for activation. I would place the gimmick at the lower most portion of the deck so that the we***t of the deck so as to help marginally prolonging the activation time and ... spectator management in relation to activation time.

Those who have Nestorizer may give it a try and it will work as described.

Nestorizer may do that, but it will not withstand a spectator's examination of the deck, before or after, which apparently this method does.

A deck that does this effect and withstands an examination before and after sounds very interesting...

Peter,
Are the gimmicks for this durable and able to hold up for a large number of performances? Does the DVD teach how to make new gimmicks or do you have to purchase new ones?

Also, what the price on this going to be?

Two gimmicks come with the DVD and he does teach you how to make the gimmicks. He has not yet indicated potential price or release date... Peter any update?

Dear friends,
Here we go again. I really understand why Peter don't want to help with the guessing game (it never ends, next question will be but is it this or that until people find out what it is) but I thought to chime in and bring some small light.

I think the demo and bullet points speak on its own. The deck is fully examinable (I mean labor examinable) before and after the effect. The spectator is the last to touch the deck, put it down concentrate and after a while the deck cuts it self.

Well, I suppose if the deck is fully examinable (what does "labor examinable" mean?) before and after, and the spectator is the last to touch it before the animation, then that must mean the method is different from Nestorizer. Interesting...

Exactly!!! Smile

Does labour inspection mean spectator can check the deck and find nothing strange?
or just check quickly ?
this is an important point before buying.

Peter-

Who is going to by carrying this? I generally buy from Penguin.

Are you doing an exlusive with anyone or is this going through Murphy's and typical distribution channels?

I really like the look of this.

I presume "labour inspection" means that the spectators can examine the deck as much as they like - the gimmick is gone.
I still enjoy the traditional version of the Haunted Deck (not sure if it's the original). This also allows inspection before and after the effect, and the deck can be used as a normal deck right up until the presentation. Though admittedly it does use t****d, and the magi normally holds the deck on his own outstretched palm. What I like about the traditional HD though, is that it's super easy to set up, costs nothing, as we all have the neccessary stuff to create the gimmick lying around, and once you set yourself up with it, you can forget about it, and are always ready to go. You can probably even wash your clothes with the gimmick attached, and it will be unaffected. It's also one of the best uses of t****d, because like the Haunted Matchbox, there is 100% cover.
I bought "Eject", and I think it would be fine for some folks, but I couldn't be bothered with making the gimmicks, and the presentation.
This latest release looks very cool, but to date I've not been persuaded that anything is actually more practical, reliable, or simple to use, than the standard method.
I'm sure I stand to be corrected one day - let's hope Peter Eggink/Paul Harris has done it this time?!

You'd really have to go out of your way to break one of the gimmicks. Two are supplied just to make sure you have a back up in case of an extreme event.

joy to all,

I like the idea of being able to use the deck prior to performing the effect it self, I just hope (as I do with most "gimmicks") that it is practical and works in the real world.
