I am working on putting together an act in which to compete with in competitions. I have many ideas for acts but not sure where to get tricks made, or whether my ideas will work or not. They are not illusions so I can not go to an illusions builder. Some are new ideas and others a changes to old tricks, that would have to be done.
Also creating a whole act could get very expensive, I was thinking of getting a company sponsor and having them help pay for the creation and then their logo would be on the tricks or something like that. Any Ideas? Thanks

Not sure if this is useful but if you are advertising a company in your act, audience participation makes the act more memorable, especially if the spectator does something magical with the product you are sponsoring. They will go back and say (for example) "A can of Coke vanished from my hands!" or something like that.

Yep here's one. Get a job. Take some financial responsibility for what you want to do. Robert Bloor

Get a job eh?
Here is news to you, I have a full time job and do magic on the side. Plus I have to pay thousands of dollars back for school in which I have just finished. Plus I am only 20 years old. How many 20-year-olds have the money to spend on what you say a hobby? I have plans for corporate shows and would like to compete with those shows also, so all I was asking was for some advice on that, not on my financial position. Thanks
