Smoke devices have been a very versatile tool for many magicians to accompany magic effects.
during the last years many devices have been released with obvious differences making the selection of a device more difficult and more careful. this device has come in view this period and moved the interest so I posted it here in case someone has it so he can give us his opinion. can it really produce 200puffs of smoke consequetive? the cloud of smoke is thick enough? is it easy to use? etc Any other proposition of a smoke device is also well-accepted Thanks in advance Harrismatic |

From Adam Topham's newsletter. Despite being banned from the Café, has graciously decided to include all the adaptors for the charger, for all the Café members, and also when his new website goes live he would like you to subscribe to his store and get a lifetime discount of 10% so that whenever you make a purchase you automatically get the discount. All you need to do is sign in to his store as a customer and drop him an email, then the discount will be apllied to the account. This is his way of saying a thank you for Café members that have believed and trusted in him, and this offer will expire once his website goes live, so if you have any friends that would like the magic smoke 2 before the website goes live get them to drop Adam a line.

It's not on his website yet. He has sold them at Blackpool Convention and through his email. You can email him and he'll graciously give you all the info you want.
Adam is fantastic to deal with so far. His refills are a lot cheaper than the competitor's. Much, much cheaper! Adam isn't the greedy type to gauge people on refills. Adam provides a recharable battery adaptor plus two rechargable batties, extra parts just in case, and the stuff you'll need to keep you going for a year of supply, depending how crazy you use it. (lol) I should also note that Adam's SMOKE V2 is 100% safe and non-toxic, and that's because he doesn't sell colored vapor with his. The competitor has been having problems with the color as well, but looks like they are going to sell it anyways. I went with SMOKE V2 because when the pro's and con's were compared to the competitor brand, for me, Smoke V2 won hands down on all fronts. However, that info no longer exists on this site. You should also check out the competitor's unit, but do email Adam with questions. He is very open and honest about his product. He does have a special price for Café members right now. However, once the product is up on his site, the offer ends and it goes back to regular price. Don't worry though, in comparison to something similiar, the price to me is still good. Here is a video trailer for the original SMOKE. Smoke V2 is the improved version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUY9HMHQ8iU

Endorsement from Jeff McBride is always a good thing!
Airline friendly is important to me; I'll be on Adam's side of the pond soon. |

I have not yet checked out this Smoke V2. This is the first time I am hearing about it.
I wanted to ask is anybody familiar with the 'Pure Smoke' thing from Ellusionist? I just received an advertisment for it in my email. It seems that it is easy to attach as compared with their 'Ultra Smoke' which was a big pain to attach. I am wondering also about how easy it is to trigger the delivery button. The Ultra Smoke was very good in that respect. I am going to check out this Smoke V2. I would be interested in any comments anybody has about the two systems. I was wondering if this 'Pure Smoke' is a sort of 'state of the art' thing or the V2 would be just as good. The 'Pure Smoke' is about $147. |

Both units sound very similiar, only a matter of short time before we find out how similiar. Adam has had SMOKE V2 out for a while and works on the same idea.
SMOKE V2 comes with a whole lot more smoke than it's competitor's. Adam's refills are also a lot cheaper. Adam's comes with two rechargeable batteries, a recharger plus adapter for it. Adam also gives you spare parts just in case. There are many reasons why I choose Smoke V2 over it's competitor, and that's because Adam is not one of the greed machines who think they can gauge their customers for every dime. When SMOKE v2 and it's competitor were compared on another thread, it was clear as day what the better product was. However, it quickly got deleted as well as numerous other posts, plus another thread reviewing SMOKE V2. I will have mine shortly and someone I know ordered the competitor's unit. We will compare them both and I will share my findings.
