Hello and welcome to Benjamin. In this effect you will have a card freely selected and tear it into a frame. You will then slip it into the opening of your shirt and make it pass through the button inexplicably.
At this point the spectator can tug on it or even inspect it and see that it is truly linked on there. The spectator can check everything out. The card! The shirt! EVERYTHING! You will also get my moving button routine where you take a button that is sewn onto your shirt and visibly move it to a completely different location on your shirt. Completely examinable! It has just been released. Check it out if you get a chance and if you want to talk about it feel free to do so here. |

I bought it but I fooled my wife only 5 seconds ... ok she is really the strongest reviewer.
But I wouldn't say that the spectator can inspect it or can check everything out. He only can tug on it.

I use this regularly in my paid performances, since Alan shared this with me many moons ago.
It's a killer performance piece, in the right hands. Not only is the moment of magic, one that gives that slow, confused reaction but when they inspect the card and then reach for shirt to see that it's 100% normal with no gimmicks on it or anything, it elevates the moment of astonishment from a trick to a miracle. Ok, I know I sound like I'm just bigging this up too much. But any of us who actually go out and work, understand how rare it is to come across an effect that you put straight in to your walk around act, but more importantly, keep it in your walk around act. This is exactly what's happened for me, with Benjamin. It's an effect that your audience finds easy to understand, super easy to do and most of all, it packs small and plays huge! One of those rare off-beat pieces of magic that you can add in to any moment of your day. Excellent thinking Al. Lloyd |
