My favorite thus far is Meant to Be by John Born. You will want to have a memorized deck. Check out the joyal stack. I memorized it in about 4 hours. It's pretty easy compared to some others.

If you have the book "Expert Card technique" then you might take a look at an idea I posted in Secret Sessions titled "How to Make ACAAN interesting for Laymen". I combine a routine from that book with a special gaff that gives you a hands off ACAAN... apart from you having to deal the cards. You don't do any cuts, just a very special way of dealing which is explained in the Expert Card Technique. The cool thing about it is that the card and number aren't revealed until the very last moment. Meaning that whoever picked the number doesn't ever tell you their number, they just tell you to stop dealing cards once you have reached it. |

There are so many but Subtle Scam may be of interest.

Barrie Richardson has some great ACAAN effects and they require almost no sleights.

You are posting in "latest & greatest", right?... I don't know about all the ACAAN versions, but I'm sure about one thing: The LATEST from Max Krause is just GREAT! MACAAN offers multiple advantages (for me):
- no memory work - easy to do - very entertaining for the spectators (real involvment, etc.) - different (first time I use my cell phone for magic) - no memory work (did I say that already? Sorry, I have no memory...) - and also because my wife thinks that's the best trick I've showed her in the last 20 years! (I did it for her at least 7 times this week, and she doesn't have a clue; same for my 20 years old son, so I'm ready or "real audiences" now) So, it might be my best buy so far this year... My LATEST might be the GREATEST! |

Yep. MAACAN is excellent!
Subtle Scam too is worth a look and offers a variety of options for a relatively low price. |

MP - As a keen ACAANER, I hear what you say - but Max's version, despite the tech, does allow you to show face up dealt cards and then use the deck for the rest of your act. Matthew's is a bit of a pocket filler for a one-trick deck. |

In my version (I can call it Affinity ACAAN) a layman thinks of a card and another one thinks of number. With their card and their number I will teach them to calculate an Affinity Index (This is just a percentage and 100% is the max affinity). After this part I show them what is the meant about this particular A.I. I take the deck from the table (always in full view) and I explain that this deck will be used to show them a particular trick etc. etc. I hands the deck to the spectator and and ask to name for the first time card and number. The spectator counts at named number... Et Voila'!! No forcing. No mem deck. No Sleight of hands. Only one regular deck. MP |
