I was doing a party outside today. Everything was going great. about 25 kids, all having a great time. Started my "ABC...Stung" routine and just as the B disappears, 2 real bees appear! They start flying around as I am trying to get the kids focus back. Hard to do when any part of the group is jumping and ducking and yelling. Finally finished the trick. I think the only thing to make it any more appropriate is if at the end of the trick, when the card is turned over to reveal the word "stung", one of bees actually does! But alas, no such luck. Well, it could have been worse. At least I wasn't performing ____ (fill in the blank).
