Thought this looked quite interesting, seen different ways of doing this,
But this looked real nice in the demo http://www.deceptionartist.com/newrelease.cfm Thoughts? |

Glad you find it interesting, this can be performed with most small objects, coins,
Keys, cards and bottle caps. All the best R |

Other posts about it---this is really strong. Great method putting the effect in the spectator's hands. Anything in the spectator's hands adds immeasurably to any effect. This is a steal for the price.

I did not see a magic trick in this demo. The hand that is covering the glass is not shown to be free of anything on the back of the hand. We don't even know if it was spectator's hand. The hand supposedly holding something is not shown to contain the marked 10 pence piece. This is really rubbish, aren't demo's suppose to show what the effect would look like.

When I firstly saw this demo I thought the same but when I noticed that it uses the spectator's hand everything changed. Of course if the trailer is totally different from what you can do with spectator's hand then yes I am with you.

Hi
Just to clarify, taken is performed on the spectators hand, not the performers. More information here from people that are using it http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......m=159&14 Hope that clears that up for you. All the best R |

Keep in mind Rus is a professional magician, not a film producer. This is a wonderful effect that takes place in the spectator's hand. Anyone who passes on this is missing out. |

Wmhegbli, this is far from rubbish? I've been performing this over the last couple of nights with some incredible reactions. This is a real worker for me.
And for the price one of my best purchases this year. And I agree with brehauts comment about the demo. I did this with a borrowed house key last night just to give that version a go, stunned the spectator. This is a great piece of magic an something I will be using a lot. |

To be fair to Mr. Hegbli, the demo does not do a whole lot of good selling us on the effect, brehaut and Jason. I would not buy the trick based on the demo. And also, brehaut, while Rus may not be a film producer, there is a lot of effort put into making the demo look like it was made by a film producer!
;-) Bottom line, it's not a good sales tool. I believe that's what wmhegbli was inferring. I doubt very much that if you bought the trick yourself, it was due solely to the demo and this thread. Steve H
Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Thanks for the concerts + recordings, Lowell, Richie, and Paul!
