Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

What's in a name?
For generations, immigrants have shed their ancestral identities and taken new, Americanized names as they found their place in the melting pot. For Muslims in New York, that rite of assimilation is now seen by police as a possible red flag in the hunt for terrorists. The New York Police Department monitors everyone in the city who changes his or her name, according to interviews and internal police documents obtained by The Associated Press.

If the children were taken out of the home due to as the article says signs of domestic abuse that's one thing. But for someone to get upset over them naming their son after Hilter? You have got to be kidding me! Since when has that been illegal? Granted not even in what I would say is the top 500 choices for a boy's name but still, if this is a B.S. taking of the children due to his name. The judge the CPS offical(s) involved should be fired pure and simple
God I sound like GDW here but if he did post against this action this is one of if not the only thing I would agree with him on. |

The story made me suspect that the "neighbor accusing them of physical abuse toward their kids, that's why we took them" may be a bit of a sham.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

There was a man a few years ago who named his son "Jihad." It only got noticed when he tried to get vanity plates for the boy's car.

I've met a few people here in Germany who were named after Adolf back in he day. I guess that was a thing to do during the 1930s.

Before it was inextricably associated with the Fuehrer, Adolf or Adolph was a rather popular name, even among people he attempted to exterminate.

I also can't find anywhere in the story where it says the couple lost custody because they named their child Adolf. The only reason I found in the story given on why they lost custody was, "The appeals court ruled Thursday that sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect existed because of domestic violence in the home." "The father, Heath Campbell has several swastika tattoos on his arms with the name Hitler written on his hand. Campbell also wears German Nazi boots." Sounds like a nice guy. I'm surprised he's not at one of the Occupy movements. |
