Since my Stroke of 2009, I cannot do do sleights as easily and readily as I once could...I am looking for a reasonably easy (using TT or not) bill switch, I would really like to do a mismade bill effect for walkaround.
Thanks |

I know that this isn't a 'mismade bill' but if sleights are not so easy to achieve these days, then Tango produce the 'Kartis Visible Bill Change' which is the instant change of blank paper into a bill:
http://www.tangomagic.com/product.php?pr......0&page=1 You can literally perform this change just with one hand - I've put an in-depth review of this trick on The Café if you think that this trick is potentially for you.

My handling for the Mismade is pretty easy. If you can finger palm and control the pressure exerted by your thumb, you may have all the ability you need to do the handling. You'd want to hand out the bill to be examined, because the effect begs for it.

Update on 'Kartis' Bill Change', nice concept, BUT... I personally think this bill change is good in low light conditions otherwise the secret to the trick will be given away. For $10.00 I don't think it's a bad deal because I learned a new concept, but the gimmick is poorly made because the 'real money' looks so fake it's horrible, perhaps in a low light condition it wouldn't matter. Personally, I will probably use this method at clubs or bars, but definitely not walking around during the day AND I'm going to make my own version using real money.
So far, honestly my favorite money tricks are '$2 window' by Jay Noblezada and 'Extreme Burn'by Richard Sanders. Although I haven't reviewed 'Cinch' or 'Greed' "yet" I am looking forward to seeing how they are... |

Gary - I know what you are getting at BUT aren't you initially covering this at the front with your finger-tips?

I still have yet to try it out, but this is my thinking. On a side note, I just received 'Cinch' by Shaun Robison and it's a thing of beauty. VERY easy to make, absolutely the best bill change I have seen yet. I am still a HUGE 'Extreme Burn' fan, BUT 'Cinch', in my opinion, has all the bill changes beat! I held out on buying this for a while because I have many other bill changes, but I finally broke down and bought it and I'm very, very happy with the product. Shaun, I know you frequent these forums, thank you for sharing this with this amateur magician. I absolutely love it! |

The traditional $100 bill switch is still good. John Lovick has a book with everything regarding the bill switch.

I feel the glued on gimmick that usually comes with the Mismade Bill would be a good choice.
