Halloween Houdini seance linked with Hollywood Magic Castle fire? Any thoughts?
Even NBC in a separate story from these found this a thing to ponder over.

Here is a story filed by a news station that called just after the seance ended to attest to the happening..
Notice the time it was put up on the internet that day. Amazing that this happened! Could it mean anything? Houdini Lives!

Houdini has given his sign from beyond the grave!

Gee, a conclusion leapt to from someone with a vested interest in the otherwise obscure Houdini seance trying to capitailize on a fire across the country that coincided with the candles supposedly burning a tad bit brighter (did they really?) on a candleabra. No conflict of interest there.
The fire was a cool coincidence. but unless it burned the words Roseabelle Believe into the wall of the Castle it's nothing more than a coincidence.

If you looked at all the links you will see this conclusion was made by a writer that called at the same time the incident was witnessed by a room packed full of people. The writer had no vested interest and wrote the story before anyone knew about the tragic fire in Hollywood.

Like it or not, these are the kinds of "coincidences" that have helped make Houdini magic's most legendary name, including his dying on Halloween. Or the thunderstorm at the 10th anniversary seance. We did not make it up, it is all part of the legacy.

In case you do not know it our seances have been regularly reported in major media including the Biography Channel, the BBC as well as major newspapers and many others.

Maybe it should be considered that Dai and Houdini are in ghostly cahoots.

The 31 October Fire, at the Magic Castle, was caused by a careless roof repairer with a blow-torch. While Houdini's Séance story is fun and interesting, all speculation is nothing more than coincidence.

BTW - the Magic Castle's Houdini Séance Room was untouched by the fire and subsequent water damage.
