I was at a children's party one year, The show was going brilliantly, me and the kids were having a lot of fun when Santa walked through the door. He was 10-minutes early.

Once the kids saw him everyone ran over to him followed by Mum and Dad. I'd been paid in advance which was good as no-one bothered to talk to me after that. They were all at one end of the room I was at the other. I packed up and left; they were all too busy watching the kids with Santa - no one even took the time to say thank you.

Funnily enough, when they phoned for the next party I was fully booked.

I'm putting the production show together to offer the mall this year for the big unveiling of Santa. I'm going to be the Santa and I'm working on a show where my wife will play Mrs. Claus and be having trouble finding Santa at the North Pole as she doesn't know where he is. After many attempts she will finally succeed and produce me and on with the endless lines of children with long lists.

I plan to open with the Quentin Reynolds mouse hanky routine. I will not do all of the first part he does, just the folding of the mouse.
I will be talking about" It was the night before Christmas, not a creature was stirrin, not even a mouse....

That's is a great Idea Mr Lucky......are you going to lead in to another effect or just ditch the mouse?

A cabinet shaped like a chimney? What a great idea! Actually, I had one that I used for years in mall shows to make Santa appear. Just sold it this year for $250. That's not much of a budget, is it? Four plywood sides, a piece of ply for the bottom, and some velvet for BA effect. Check out Paul Osborne's plans, that's what I built it from.
