The issues being debated here are far more important than whether or not you are going to make a fat hat busking for protesters. If you don't like it then don't come back to this thread. You did not begin it so you have no grounds to protest the direction it has taken. And if you are talking about Danny Hustle, the last I knew, he was still posting here regularly. |

Well, I stand corrected. It appears that Danny has left the building.
Well, he has his own forum so he doesn't need to deal with lowly riff-raff like us anyhow. And, once again, straying off the OP's topic. USPCC cards are indeed crap compared to what they once were. It is only a matter of time before the Chinese fill the void and put yet another U.S. company out of business. See Leo Behnke's book, "Professional Close-Up" for a thorough examination of the decline and fall of USPCC playing cards quality. |

It appears that the original poster has also abandoned this discussion.
Not to draw your ire Epoptika, but this particular forum is afterall, about magic though and not politics. Have a fine day gentlemen! |

I use the Number 1 brand most of the time as I prefer bridge sized packs. Their quality knocks the USPCC into a cocked hat. Regarding USPCC cards. My 'personal experiences with them' (since you ask) is that about two years ago, I moved over to trialing their cards; and bought a large number of bricks of Riders, Aviator, Hoyle Shellback & Tally Ho's (Circle & Fan) from MagicBox here in the UK - who were offering significant discounts for bulk buys. The cut quality of the cards; coupled with the offset printing across all brands, was an absolute disgrace. I subsequently sold them on (at a significant loss) to a UK second-hand magic supplier. Since then, I've noticed a number of guys on here experiencing similar problems; despite the company moving to a new factory. So there's the two answers that you required. And your next question is MATE?

He wanted to get to the other tide! I'll keep the corny jokes coming until you beg me to stop. If You like beating a dead horse, I accuse you of being dull. :stircoffee: |

Oh man did I ever wander into the wrong place. I'm going back to my nice home in the Not Very Magical forum, where we get to insult each other daily over politics, but at least we don't have to argue about whose playing cards are better.
