Folks, Jay builds a great chair suspension model. It really is a wonderful illusion and I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to add it to their own show. Keep up the good work, Jay.

Kyle, you should purchase a chair suspension for adults. I promise if you purchase Jay's you will be satisfied.

Mike: We have talked about it. If I ever decide to do it for adults or with my wife, Jay's is the version I would be purchasing.

I had to put this somewhere. After watching several vids and live performances I have never liked this illusion ... til now.

Penn & Teller doing a fantastic chair levitation routine. Best I have seen. They added the logic and reasoning I always felt was missing. http://youtu.be/_CyKeSCP0jo

The illusion (like any trick) is just a trick. It is all in what you do with it and how you present it that makes it something special. The other problem is that many folks do not have enough understanding or know-how on the chair suspension illusion. A lot of information just was never handed down or written about it. Many times folks get the illusion and the instructions do not say much at all. They are left to try and figure it all out for themselves.

I've got to reaffirm my delight with Jay's Elite Chair Suspension. After hundreds of shows, I did a show last weekend where the birthday child spontaneously decided they did not want to do the suspension and immediately offered the kid's grown teen baby-sitter. With prior Chair Suspensions I would have been worried, but with this one, I didn't have any concern as this prop is solid with not even a hint of sagging. The design of the gimmick is not only stealth and can be done with kids sitting close up with an underside view, It also sets up easily without triple checking that you had positioned it properly.

Great news that you were able to do that and have it work falwlessly.

One thing I tell folks is if they have a birthday child who is nervous and may nto want to do it, change the routine up. you still want the child to be the star of the day because THEY are the one cebrating the birthday and the parents are paying you to make it special. So if they get scared and you can not do it with them, make them the magician that floats the other person. Give them the magic and take the magic and focus away from you and on to them. trust me, this works great and makes them the star of the show and still give them focus and importance.
