Your post after mine was "The ACCC sound like a bunch of Earbashers to me!".

Not at all. I was just looking for an opportunity to use that wonderful Australian term that Destiny introduced us to. I thought it was funny. And I thought it obvious that was what I was doing but I realize comedy is hard on a forum.

However, I do stand by my feelings that the ACCC making the threats, while sounding reasonable, is an to silence ANY claims about price increases, true or not, through the implied threat.

It seems very similar to how Congress started summoning companies to capital hill who made the mistake of stating how the new health care legislation would cost thier companies money in an attempt to strong arm them into being quiet.

Is your position that somehow this justifies arrogance?

The words arrogant and dismissive are listed as synonyms in at least some dictionaries and thesauruses. For example, online, see:

http://thesaurus.com/browse/dismissive?qsrc=2446&o=102334

http://www.websters-online-dictionary.or......smissive

As I said, I found Rockwell's post after mine to be at the very least rather dismissive of it. So the arrogance follows.

So if you want to pick on Magnus for being "arrogant" in this thread that's fine, but he wasn't the first.

Seriously? How disapointing and shocking. "But HE did it first"! Wow havn't been to 3rd grade in a while. Thanks for the memories.
