With amazingly few exceptions, Dennis, you and I are batting 1.000 concerning your dislike list. We are the Opposite Brothers in movie taste! Smile (Though I do like a bunch of movies on your like list.)

I also have to agree with your evaluation of Cabaret. The decision to make Liza a star ruined the movie by overemphasizing her character, throwing the book of the play out of balance. Subplots and terrific Kander-Ebb songs from the play were jettisoned much to the detriment of the movie. Only Joel Grey's brilliant performance from the play remained intact.

Those Harry Potter movies do nothing for me.

Shampoo - I left 15 minutes into it and I don't know why I waited so long.

Avatar - the shorts on TV were bad enough - I didn't bother seeing it.

Most movies with Tom Hanks in them.

I do watch Tom Cruise movies because they're generally good movies I keep wishing Tom Cruise wasn't in.

Any movie starring someone who's just finished a hit TV show to become a movie star (there is an exception to this rule - Bruce Willis left his hit TV show and became one of the best movie stars ever.)

I liked Bruce Willis better on TV, though my favorite movie performance of his was an uncredited role in the Paul Newman sleeper Nobody's Fool. Anyone see that?

Billy Jack and sequels. Transparent propagandic drivel.
We dance an invisible dance to music they cannot hear.
