You guys all off work today? Have fun while we toil.

Not all. I toiled. And I don't even get turkey for dinner tonight. I get a frozen pizza. No football on TV. No pie. No pie.

No pie.

If y'all love me, you'd send me pie every year around this time.

I like pie.

How does pie stand up to international shipping?

Thanksgiving football starting...good news...the Lions don't suck, so the first game should be good. Bad news, singer apparently lost track of the lyrics of the Natio al Anthem. Fair recovery, though. Painful for a few seconds.

Nope, I work...no turkey for me either...but those few of us who are working chipped in and had some BBQ brought in. (I guess working on a holiday makes me "essential personnel")

I imagine it would end up splattered all over the inside of the box, perhaps with a bit of mold starting to emerge.

But Hostess pies would probably hold up. Maybe not as well as Twinkies, but you get the idea.

I don't have to work right now, but I will have to go to bed about 7 or so so I can get up at 1:30 am and get ready to go to Wally World for Black Friday.

Stone, what's your favorite Thanksgiving pie?
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I like pie. Period. Smile

Actually, I usually take a slice of pumpkin pie for tradition (though I do enjoy it), but for seconds I eat a slice of pecan pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A real sugar bomb. But hey, it's Thanksgiving! God gave us pie, and he gave us ice cream, so why not?

Dear Abby's Pecan Pie recipe is a no-fail marvel. Dump. Mix. Bake. Eat. Sleep it off.

In the spirit of camaraderie, I am making an effort to slack off at work here at my end in Canada. Smile
