I have a Tippman 98 custom, which is an excllent gun. I love playing, and it's actually kinda fun getting hit because you can show off your welts. lol Smile

My friend just bought a Tippman A-5 with the flat line barrel. It has the built in electronic hopper which is insane...Have you ever held an Angel?

I hate it when someone shoots you up close and the ball STILL doesn't POP.

It hurts but I love it. I have never seen any paint guns for sale in the UK.

Chris,

I have been paintballing for a while. It's great fun.

I have a Tippman98 with a 14-inch barrel and a scope and I put camo tape on my CO2 tank and hopper and wrapped the gun itself in brown yarn and green fabric.

Chris,

Yeah, it's actually just woods but there's a lot of brush and the gun can not be seen from even like 10 feet away if you didn't know it was there.

Paintballing is so fun!!! I own a Tippman Model 98 but not the one with the flatline barrel as pictured in the link above. I've got an 18-inch smart parts all American on mine and a scope on the raised sight rail. (Doesn't do much, but it looks intimidating. Smile ) I haven't played in a while though. College keeps me busy.

OHHHH buddy my friend's flatline is insane!! The A-5 has the special cycle at the side that is like a built-in electronic hopper. It's pretty crazy.

The guy I worked with at the magic shop brought a piantball gun into work one day. He loaded it with a bunch of sponge balls and scared the **** out of the owner!

Have you guys ever played at night? After I played that way, playing during the day just isn't the same. Go out when it is pitch black and no moon, strap a flashlight to the end of you gun, it's a blast. Plus you can sneak up on somebody and just destroy them.

Chris,

Where I live (Las Vegas, Nevada) there was a huge uproar when a news story broke about a new twist on the paintball wars. It was being advertised online and in the papers as "Hunting for Bambi". It had nothing whatsoever to do with deers, though. I do not wish to describe this event any further, so as not to give any bad ideas more creedance. I will say this...the business was shut down immediately by local officials.

Ohhh that doesn't sound too good. I think paintballing should be taken seriously in a way that people should realize it is a gun and although it can not pierce you it can make you blind and it is possible to take a life.

Paintballing should only be played in supervised arenas specifically for paintballing and nowhere where the public can be harmed. If that is followed it is a great sport.

Hey I've been paintballing one time. I loved it. Would like to get into a more competitive atmosphere with it, but just do not have the time.

I went with some friends back in college. Was a blast. Except for the only time I got hit—square on top of my head. Ooooouch. The noise it made when it hit my skull was awful.

But I still loved playin'!

RobertBloor, did you play in a forest or something they called speedball? Where it's a small field with stand ups and you hide behind them for coverage. It is a very fast-paced game.
