Scott Grossberg has a video tutorial on his site which shows how to distress his Deck of Shadows. I did the same with an old set of French Tarot cards, and they came out fantastic.
Here is Scott's tutorial: http://scottgrossberg.wordpress.com/ If you want them M****d though, go with the Outlaw Carnie Tarot deck. You can't go wrong there.

Bedford, I just was at Outlaw's site. They've got great stuff. I don't necessarily need a m-d one yet, but Christmas is almost here.
Appreciate the sites, people. Tonight will be spent in viewing and research. |

The direct link for my blog article is:
http://scottgrossberg.wordpress.com/2011......ed-look/ This allows you to use a full deck of 78 tarot cards (rather than just the Majors). You can also select the deck of your choice. Bear in mind that not all deck finishes are the same and the ink will "take" differently with each one. |

Received my Trad Carnie Tarot on saturday and I'm very very pleased with them. Photo's really don't do them justice!

Andy, how would you describe the drawings/characterizations? Many versions have what I could label 'risque' images. I'm looking for a version that can be used in mixed company.

Sorry for the slow response!
They are based on the bodet tarot from the mid 1700's so they are very traditional I doubt you would be able to offend anyone with the images on the cards. The ageing is spot on and they fit very nicely into my background story. I've also got a Christian Chelman Tarot which is a classic marseille deck, I've not tried to age them but if you are feeling brave it might be the way to go. all in all though for an old spooky deck I don't think you can beat Outlaw. A bit late in replying but have you looked at Card Shark's Tarot? Looks aged and is m*rked for all cards - not just Major Arcana.

It seems that the full deck has vanished from the Card Shark website - although the add ons still seem to be there. It's a shame. I love this deck - it looks and feels authentic.

Very cool medieval deck! Balaram, great site. I'm sure they'll get a few new hits.
