One of my favorite effects to perform is the zerox card effect, except I notice happening more often is people know about himber wallets and I have thought of using larry beckers lightning coin purse instead. Do you think this would look ok to laymen or would it look weird? I am thinking it could work very well since you can always switch out the gaffed purse for the normal one if someone really wants to look at it. Any thoughts would be great.

Why do you need a Himber wallet for in the Xerox effect?
There are effects that use nothing but the deck and the xerox sheet. Bryan
Oh sure, I can spell "Antidisestablishmentarianism", but I can't type t-h-e.

There are other types of switch wallets other than a himber you can use. Peter Scarlet has a good one called the Pimpernal. Maybe you also need to look at your presentation and how you're handling the wallet.

If you are asking about the coin purse used in Becker's Stunners book, I think that might be small for the xerox effects I am thinking of. The ones I am thinking of have the playing card in with the printed page. I don't know that a card could fit in this purse without being folded.

I usually work with a mix of audiences from restaurants to private events and I have been using my himber wallet for many years now and I never use to have any issues with it but in the past few months I have been getting people who say they know how these wallets work and even one spectator who had a himber wallet as he daily wallet. And yes it is the purse used in becker's stunners book, but I use a slight variation to the xerox effect instead of the card vanishing the card they pick ink fades and ends up on the paper so the paper does fit in the coin purse.
